Gullane boasts everything from coffee and gift shops to sports equipment and boutique clothes shops. There is also an art gallery. For afficionados of golfing history you will find Jack White’s, the home of ‘everything hickory’ as well as the golf museum. We even have a vintage guitar shop!

LOCAL BEACHES
There are many fabulous beaches along our coastline. Why not do the two hour walk following the coastal path starting at the Aberlady bird sanctuary ending in North Berwick. Admire the amazing scenery as the path takes you through Muirfield and Yellowcraigs with stunning views of The Lamb, Fidra with her lighthouse, and The Bass Rock as you come into North Berwick. If you still have energy you could climb to the top of North Berwick Law and see the whale’s jaw bone and the Iron Age Fort.

If golfing, cycling or walking are not for you, do not worry, there are plenty of other things to keep you busy during your stay with us! There are museums, castles, family adventure parks (Foxlake and East Links) as well as the Seabird Centre. You can even go inside Concorde at The National Museum of Flight. For something a little bit more energetic, why not book a surf lesson, hire a paddle board or take a boat trip and see the puffins and seals up close.
